Effective Date: August 4, 2026 · Blue Hen Consulting LLC
This Privacy Policy explains how Blue Hen Consulting LLC ("Blue Hen," "we," or "us") collects, uses, and protects the information you provide when you visit this website, submit a form, or engage us for AI advisory or consulting services. By using this site or submitting a form, you agree to the practices described below.
1. Who We Are
Blue Hen Consulting LLC is a Delaware limited liability company providing boutique artificial-intelligence (AI) advisory and consulting services - training, readiness assessments, tool selection, and AI-use policy - to small firms, nonprofits, and local-government offices across the Mid-Atlantic. Blue Hen Consulting LLC also operates The Mispillion Group, its research practice. This policy applies to information collected through bluehenconsulting.com.
2. Information We Collect
Information you provide. When you submit our contact or consultation form, or engage us for services, we collect the information you choose to give us - which may include your name, organization, email address, phone number, and the details of your message. If you purchase services, we also collect billing details such as your name, organization, and billing address.
Information collected automatically. When you visit the site, our hosting and security provider records standard technical data such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you view, and the date and time of your visit. This is used to operate and secure the site.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Respond to your inquiries and communicate with you about a potential or active engagement.
- Provide and deliver the advisory and consulting services you request.
- Process payments and issue invoices and receipts.
- Keep business records as required for legal, tax, and accounting purposes.
- Operate, maintain, and secure this website.
4. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share your contact information with third parties for their own marketing. We share information only with the service providers that operate our business, and only as needed to deliver our services:
- Web3Forms - processes submissions from our contact and consultation forms and delivers them to us.
- Stripe - processes payments and invoicing.
- Cloudflare - provides website hosting and security.
- Google Workspace - provides our business email.
Each of these providers handles data under its own privacy and security terms. We may also disclose information where required by law, to comply with legal process, or to protect our rights, property, or safety.
5. Payment Information
Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not collect or store full payment-card numbers on our systems; card details are transmitted directly to and handled by Stripe under its own security standards, including the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). We receive only the transaction and billing information necessary to fulfill and record your order.
6. Cookies and Tracking
This site uses only the minimal cookies necessary for basic functionality and security, such as those set by our hosting and security provider. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking, and we do not sell your data to advertisers or data brokers.
7. Data Retention
We retain inquiry and engagement information for as long as needed to provide our services and to meet our legal, tax, and accounting obligations. When information is no longer needed for these purposes, we delete or anonymize it.
8. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect the information in our care. However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Your Choices and Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to stop contacting you, by emailing [email protected]. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy laws, and we will honor those rights as required.
10. Children's Privacy
Our website and services are directed to organizations and professionals, not to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
